Our love of trees has guided us to make flower essences in the heart of pristine ancient forests, ranging from towering redwoods to 4,000 year old bristlecone pines.

The essences carry the unique properties of these ancient trees and environs, and are made in a manner which does not harm the trees in any way.

The Essence Makers

Ancient Forest Essences are made by Sophia Katy Savich in collaboration with Richard Witteman. Sophia has been making and working with flower essences for over 35 years.

The Tradition of Dr. Bach

In the 1930's, Dr. Bach roamed the English countryside, making essence tinctures from wild flowers and other plants. He began using these with his patients in London, with remarkable results. Over the years, he compiled his now famous 38 Bach Flower Essences, which are used world wide.
