Boarding is handled like a practiced act at Qatar Airways JFK Terminal 8. Priority boarding was effectively handled for Business Class and families with children, and the gate workers called passengers in order. Many employees were available to help and answer inquiries. The waiting area had plenty of seats, and the boarding gates were well-organized. The movement of people into the airplane was smooth and there was no confusion or rush. Some of my previous experiences with other airlines were very different from this serene and well-organized setting. The procedure was further streamlined by the welcoming tone of the gate announcements and the supportive staff. I'm impressed by Qatar Airways' ability to uphold such high standards from the ground to the air.
